Here we have some more great 2D Fighters. Atlus vs Sunsoft vs Data East. All making use of the additional RAM cart. Which will it be: Fighters History Dynamite, Groove On Fight or Waky Waku 7? Pick one and list your reasons why below FIGHTERS HISTORY DYNAMITEGROOVE ON FIGHTWAKU WAKU 7

I upped Waku. Cartoon designs, fun moves, intense gameplay.

Fighters History Dyname gets my vote everytime. The challenge is fair, the controls are responsive and all the characters are interesting.
Unfortunately the same cannot be said for Waku Waku 7. I found the roster uninspiring and only tended to use the same character over and over again. The end level boss is also ridiculously hard and not worth the hassle. The game also loads after the first round which is a rubbish use of the additional RAM cart. On the plus side, it's colourful and does play well.
Groove on Fight I've never played but heard so much about. I'm hoping someone on here can give me the lowdown on that game.

I haven't had the chance to play either Waku Waku or Fighters History but I have Groove on Fight and it's a pretty good game,I like how you can switch between your 2 fighters and how you can pick up your beaten opponent (or your own beaten character) to throw at the opposition. It's a quirky alternative to Capcom and SNK's output for sure and I like to fire it up now and again.

If you like Waku Waku, don't play it on the Saturn. It's not a good port.

I CHOSE FHDynamite... As I have the most fun playing it > WW7 & GoF. As Atolm has stated, the Saturn port of WW7 is utterly dreadful. Even worse than Marvel Super Heroes in terms of port quality! However, the Neo Geo original (and PS2 version) are great! A truky remarkable game. Truth be told, WW7 IS better than FHD. I just enjoy playing FHD more As for GoF / Power Instinct 3, I really don't like it as much as I'd like. Unfortunately, the animations are really lacking in the frames dept and the game feels really stiff and rigid for me as a result. This is easily 3rd for me. By contrast, Power Instinct 4 on Neo Geo is amazing!
