What's with the obnoxious draw distance on Gale Racer? It doesn't look playable to me. Hi-Octane looks half finished. Is it any good to play?
Wipeout is rock hard to play but pretty impressive even today. Easy choice.

Gale Racer. A few years ago, I would have chosen WipEout, and I didn't choose Gale Racer because it's a better game, but with so many superior ways to play WipEout, the Saturn port is the least appealing way for me these days, and it's all down to the frame-rate. It's no so bad in the earlier speed classes, but once it starts getting faster, I don't find the game can keep up all that well, despite being steady.
I do really enjoy Gale Racer though.
Loved Hi-Octane as a kid, but man, it's rooooouuuugh these days.

Easy choise, Gale Racer looks a game from 16 bit era with a plus, nothing great for a 32 bit system, Hi-Octane looks like a prototype, it smells like something rushed, not optimized. Wipeout, far to the playstation version, it´s the winner for me, it´s easy to understand why sold so much at its launch, even today it surprises.

I loved Radmobile when I was younger in the Arcadestate but Gale Racer is shockingly bad.Never played High Octane but it can't be worse than Gale Racer. So Wipeout for me.

WTF mate? Those first two games look and sound absolutely horrific. I think this is as close as you've ever come to a loaded poll with one answer.

I love sprite-scale arcade racers. I have had a lot of fun at Gale Racer, more than at Wipeout. Hi-Octane never played, the programming engine looks very promising, with more time and improvements it seems they can make a very cool solid racer, but with many games it looks like a rush job.
