I was wondering what Saturn game series people think should have seen additional titles on the system?

An original full on 2D Sonic game would have been great instead of emulated MD games.

The Saturn needed:
EA Hockey - a high speed, high res, super smooth sprite-based update of the Mega Drive classics, not just the ropey early 3D efforts we got.
Something with Toejam and Earl
A top quality side scrolling Streets of Rage sequel. Could've been 2.5D as in Pandemonium.
I would've also liked more Burning Rangers and Panzer Dragoon inspired RPGs, but that would've required the Saturn to not be killed off.

Another burning rangers would have been nice. Something in the panzer dragoon lore as well. Until a few weeks I have never played Panzer Dragoon stuff but I now I am big fan of the franchise. The first panzer dragoon looks impressive for a saturn game.
Another Deep Fear would also be awesome. It was a decent horror game that could coexist with the RE Franchise.
I also think that a Underwater Setting is nice thing for a Survial Horror Game. There are way to little Horror games that take place in an underwater setting.

Instead we got the fighting game and it confused people even more. There are alot of polygonal sequels I wouldn't have minded them attempting VECTORMAN 3 that way. or Toe Jam and Earl, Streets of Rage as well for sure. I think Bug 3 near the systems end as a 3D title would have been interesting as well. A new 3D Phantasy Star Sequel. Castlevania Bloodlines and Contra Hard Corps remastered by Konami would have been amazing given the systems 2D capabilities. We got a couple nice Mega Man titles from Capcom (x4 and 8) so a 2D traditional one for those aforementioned series would have been great.

One of things that slightly turned me off of Deep Fear was the underwater but again that is truly what makes it unique. Im more of a haunted house guy myself. But I also would have liked to see them finish Resident Evil 2 on the Saturn for a 1998 release like they originally announced.

Might be up your street. (modern game, not Saturn)

Its shame the Saturn didn't get RE2 , though at the same time its understandable why Capcom decided to cancel it. I would have probably made the same decision given the game would have sold a very small number of copies.

That's true, although I would have preferred if they did a Konami (with SOTN) and just pushed it out of the door. I would have accepted a flawed version! I think even a Japanese version would also have sufficed!
