Hi, I have a UK model 1 Saturn and I keep getting that rolling line from time to time (everytime it does that, I have to open it up and fiddle with the wires until it work again) and when that happens it doesn't read the disc. But mine doesn't make any noise unlike most people described.
After a lot of searching I think its a psu problem. And so I find out about the PICO PSU adapter solution. Have anyone used one of these? And how well does it help if you do?
Thank you

Pico supplies are great. Iv been working on a ton of broken NTSC-J Saturns and used them in all so far. I should have a spare for sale since Iv not managed to fix one of them so could make and sell you one if thats the route you planned for? Would just need to see what supply it has so I can ensure I wire it up correctly =). I also have 3D printed mounts for the power plugs and use buck converters instead of voltage regulators so it runs cooler and needs no heat syncing.
