We haven't had one of these yet this year, so here we go!
What games are you looking to get from your wishlist this year?
For me, I'm going in big. Next year, I'm likely going to have to worry about children and whatnot so this is the year really to get the main games from my wishlist that I want. All that will remain will be stuff I have a mild interest in having but don't really care about..... oh, and Taromaru! But that can wait.
So this year, I want to grab:
*Arthur to Astaroth *Death Throttle *G Vector
*Nanatsu Kaze Rayman
*Saturn Bomberman Scorcher Sonic 3d
*Syukudai ga Tant-R Three DirtyDwarves *Thunder Storm &Road Blaster *Willy Wombat Z
The ones marked with an asterix are one I plan to get a Japanese copy of.
What about you lot?

the likelihood of me getting any of the games I want is slim, because they're all super pricey. but: - blast wind - hyper duel - lunacy (US ver) - battlesport - cotton boomerang - gekirindan - gun frontier - mighty hits (this one should be easy enough to get)

X-men vs Streetfighter
Vampire Savior Real Bout Fatal Fury Gex Exhumed/Powerslave Daytona USA Duke Nukem 3d Command and Conquer The Saturn Entries of Street Fighter
And maybe Grandia.
Grandia is a must buy for me, not sure yet though If I should get the Ps1 or the Saturn Version. The Ps1 Version would be the more conviniant Version because it is in English from the box, so no need for dealing with Patches.
But notheless I am nore drawn to the Saturn Version at the Moment.

Unless you can understand Japanese text, or intend to play the fan-translated version, get the PS1 version of Grandia. I bit the bullet a few years ago and did precisely that. I'd had several attempts at playing the JP Saturn version (with a Youtube walkthru by my side) and it was tortuous.
Collect it with the Saturn version, play the PS1 version. Or buy a sealed Saturn version for the shelf and emulate the PS1 version? I did all of the above over the last few years.

Unfortunately I am not able to understand that much Japanese. Studying it, but I am far from fluent. So in order to get the Saturn working I would have to need the fan translation. I think I will get the ps1 copy for play and get the Saturn version just for collecting purposes Would be the easiest way. Thanks for your advice rossi46

The PS1 version has a fair amount of graphical flourish missing and some warping textures, since Saturn was the main platform... so just be aware of that.

Thanks for the warning. Now if you Mention that I can remember that some contemporary Magazine Reviews of the ps1 Version also mentioned some graphical flaws.
That is a pity. I would love to Play the Saturn Version instead of the ps1 Version to be honest. but without japanese skills that is impossible. The ps1 Version is more Player than friendly than sticking with the fan Translation. I am not even sure, if the Translation patch is released just yet or if they are still working on it?? I have just read that there one in the works. Not sure About the current state of the project though.

Translation patch is out! It's not 100% final if I recall correctly, but it's 99% of the way there.

I crossed off two games on my want list recently: Dragon Force and Shining Wisdom. I also grabbed Impact Racing, which is a great hidden gem.
