I just discovered this game and what a little treasure this one is. The game looks gorgeous and the framerate is very smooth. It's like road rash, but you're just avoiding obstacles and when you hit something and wipe out you get some weird Japanese thing to happen.
This game really caught my eye due to how good the engine is and the track editor. I can't believe they didn't make a full fledged game with this. It has some much potential. Here's a little back story about it from segaretro
It was made as a tie-in to TBS's mid-1990s Japanese game show Tokyo Friend Park, where one of the games, Delisoba ("delivery soba"), had celebrities command a virtual motorcycle trying to deliver soba to the TBS TV Studios. Deluxe is a "port" of this game to the Saturn, which adds features such as a time attack and track editor, and was not sold in stores, but rather given away at the show (either to winners or to audience members, exactly what is unknown).
One of the most expensive "games" out there, this was going for £6-800 way back in the day.Now with ODE's it's in reach of everyone (well those with said ODE's) i may purchase a pseudo cart to give it a try as Satiator is still too pricey and i dont want to take the laser assembly out of my this is cool skeleton just yet.Maybe in future if my drive starts going.
Yeah i remember watching something on youtube maybe 9 or 10 years ago which was the 1st i saw it in action.Up till that time i had read threads on here i think when i fist joined the forum and on other forums.God knows what it goes for now.
