Hi all, New collector. SEGA has some of my favourite childhood arcade games. Power drift one of my faves, outrun, super hang on, etc... Where do you all buy Japanese imports from? I’m UK based. eBay obviously but any other tips appreciated

genkivideogames.com is a good UK seller - especially if condition is important to you.
videogameimports.com is another good UK seller but I got no response when I ordered a game just before Christmas so not sure what is wrong there.
Otherwise I tend to just use eBay to be honest. That's where you are more likely to get a better price but condition is always a gamble.

I've always used videogameimports.com and have done since their Dreammachine days. Lee is not only a great seller, but a good friend too

I've bought stuff off him quite a bit over the years. Always had a great experience with him. I placed an order with him January/Feb and I got no acknowledgement about it. Emailed about it a week or so later and got no reply. I ended up getting the game from eBay. The website doesn't seem to have been updated since November.

You are better offer just phoning him these days, I don't think he bother's much with emails or messenger these days. I miss the day of Dreammachines/Dreamware with Lee and Antony and James Good times

Ah...that's OK.
If that's the case he might be better putting an announcement on his site. When you order something you have enter card details etc and he really shouldn't have that active if he's not using it as a channel. Only saying that because his service was so good and he was really quick at acknowledging orders and getting them processed.
Anyhow - glad to hear he is OK.

He's on the channel but you're better off phoning rather than using e-mails. I've never known him not to answer or take phone calls

I’m UK based. eBay obviously but any other tips appreciated hi accola, possibly similar to you my current saturn is J-NTSC that is region free and PHANTOM chipped-and im sorry i have a rubbishy answer but
ive only ever bought off ebay as you can always check indivual seller feedback, makesure theyve been on there for a while-that sort of thing.
ive sold saturn games on schpock before when my original PAL saturn died but theyre not that common on there, ive just looked, even less so- J-NTSC.
its frustrating as back in early 2000s i remember CEX selling imports of the saturn, the dreamcast etc plus the games, then there was some
arguement about VAT, and they quit imports. i also remember a shop in manchesters china town selling J-NTSC imports of segas consoles such as the saturn and dreamcast but theyre long
gone sadly.
i have a damaged short term memory so i cant remember their names but there are a couple of people selling only oldskool games on ebay who have
proper J-NTSC game brick shops but it all depends on you being in that area of course, you easily come across them when searching for 'sega saturn games' under 'buy it now' and on ebay ive had nothing but good experiences with them.i have been meaning to trek down to their shops for a while.
