So as many of you are probably aware, Panzer Dragoon Saga was not 50hz optimised for PAL regions due to the rushed and limited release. I know that Zwei was released under far more normal circumstances yet I also hear that the PAL version is somewhat glitchy. I am now using a JP Saturn and will not be installing a 50/60hz switch on it. I have never modded a system in my life so I simply don't trust myself to do it. So yeah, did Zwei get a video conversion? It would be great news if not, because the game appears to sell for a higher price from US sellers.

Why not just get the JP version game? There really isn't any dialog in that game.

There is some dialogue as far as I know. It's not really essential for a shooter, but it'll be nice to understand the story. Not that I'd buy the NA version. It's a little pricey for a not-so-rare game.

I bought all three Panzer Dragoon titles for the Saturn from their original release dates, and this is the first I've heard of Saga not being properly optimised in PAL territories. Considering how late it arrived over here, I'm not surprised in the slightest that a few corners were cut - as if the decision to favour Japanese over "Panzerese" for most of the game wasn't enough of a hint that Team Andromeda had less time than with previous installments. Anyway, to answer your question I don't recall hearing anything about Zwei being rushed, though it does have the occasional graphical errors. However, I've absolutely no idea if these were present or not in the NTSC editions since I'm more of a PAL exclusive collector... unless a game I want just so happens to be import-only, of course!

Yeah, play the PAL version of Saga on a JP Saturn and it looks perfect where in its own region, there is more break-up, Edge looked chubby and there is a huge black border at the bottom of the screen. Do you know if Zwei has similar problems?

I can honestly say I've never known about these problems with the PAL version of Saga, and due to that I'm not sure if there are similar issues with Zwei as well. Someone here must be able to provide more information, though...

The PAL version of SAGA is just the NTSC version with the region code changed.
Running it in 60Hz mode fixes all of the bugs caused by the fact the game is not optimised.
Panzer Dragoon Zwei is fully optimised and runs in the correct aspect ratio at full speed in 50Hz. Running it in 60Hz causes problems, however in exchange for your missing 10fps, you have gained 100 pixels or so of resolution.
As for the suggestion that the Dialogue is not important, I disagree.
The Panzer Dragoon series' story is actually quite complex, anyone who's played all 4 games in a language they understand would be able to tell you this.
