just pickedd up an Action Replay 4M Plus. Boxed Brand new & really looking forward to testing this beast out! A quick question. I have one Jap game (Marvel Super Heroes VS Street Fighter) & I got it to play using the Action Replay Plus, but the sound & background graphics are screwed up. It that because of the Action Replay or because of the PAL console? If so then is this game a one off or do all Jap games have something wrong with them when played this way?

I have MSH VS SF and mine works fine. It must be your Action Replay its probably faulty. Take it out , blow inside your cartridge and the cartridge slot and try again. That should do the trick. I hope your playing it at 60hz. Do you have a 50/60hz speed switch on your PAL machine? If your playing it at 50hz instead on 60hz that might be a problem but I doubt it very much. Its probably your Action Replay.

There are some games which just don't like being run at 50Hz (and I'm pretty sure MSH vs SF is one of them) -- and for these games, you'll get the symptoms that you're describing. You'll need to install a 50/60Hz selector in your PAL machine, or alternatively, play it through a US or a JP machine.

RGB Scart plugged in and looking glorious. To my eyes, the difference is very obvious on Athlete Kings/Decathlete

Nice find 16bit!! Did it come with anything? No, I managed to find a power cord for it, but that's about it. I couldn't find any games either. They had a bunch of Xbox games though, and I picked up Jet Set Radio Future.

£7.50 in Chips games with one controller, aparently it was drastically reduced as it diddnt have a power cable or RF lead with it, neither of which are much of an issue for me.

Not a bad price, I must admit I've been looking for a second Saturn recently as I've been thinking about modding one and I'd like to have a back up hanging around that I can revert to if my modding attempts go tits up.
