I've been after this game for the longest amount of time but still haven't gotten round to picking it up. Does anyone have this game, if so how does it play?

They are not perfect arcade ports, but still a lot of fun.

Really? wow. i was expecting them to be arcade perfect conversions. Doesn't it run with the 4mb cart?

I think they are not arcade perfect due to the lack of a 4 player option. Everything else is Identical though I think.

Only the 2nd game uses the 4mb cart. And yeah the lack of 4-player really disappointed a lot of people.

Thanks for the info. The lack of four players is really disappointing but I suppose the gameplays the same. I might just pick it up.

You won't be disappointed.
I have both the CPS2 cart and Saturn conversion and apart from some frames of animation (minimal) and 4 players, it's a really great conversion. All of the gameplay remains intact and the same strategies work a treat.

Sure. I payed 58 pounds for it on ebay from a trusted seller I got most my Saturn games from. To be honest its not really that expensive. Usually going from 50-70 pounds with the ram,. And seeing as you get TWO games that for me is a very reasonable price to pay. If you already have the 4 in 1 action replay you can ask the seller if you can buy it without the cart. Usually they'll knock about a fiver off the price. But I'm a completest and opted for the cart deal even though I already have the 4in1. Great game so far. Can't wait to start the second game SOM

I'm working on a review of the game that I'll submit to mick or one of the moderaters on the board in about two weeks time. But I gotta finish my Streetfighter Zero 3 review first which I plant to submit at the end of the week. But I will say this, if your a fan of side scrolling beat 'em' ups you'll love this game. In my opinion this is the best of its genre and I haven't even started the second game yet which is apparently better than the first.

after seeing stuff on youtube I got it since I thought this game is like a dream come true, knowing my gaming tastes. have been playing the first disc for 2 hours and read a little bit in a faq to understand all the items, upgrades and what have you (not that I understand any of it mind you), but holy shit!! 10/10 game this!
the game is big it's almost too much for me with all the crossing paths and sometimes having 3 choices what to do (no idea what since it's japanese). I can't wait to play this with a friend. I really wished it had 4 player like in the arcades, but this is still amazing!
