New version is already available, though personally I can't test it beacuse every time it gives me an error saying: "Not found device/file:./DirectSound.cpp/Line: 251/Function: DirectSound_Initialaze" and crashes afterwards. Previous versions work fine, any help?

Have you guys tried turning off Hardware Audio Acceleration? Or perhaps tried running in AppLocale mode for Japanese language (or changing system language to japanese)?
I've not tried it myself either but sometimes these things help with dumb shit like this -_-

Alpha R1 is available and seems to be working well, it finally doesn't crash during loading screens in VF2 when playing on fullscreen (at least for me).

I don´t know if this is old news but SSF 0.11 its working "fine" with me. At least as good as 0.10 and I might dare to say that even better. Tomorrow I´ll try it hard with Resident Evil
As a curiosity it still crashes when trying to play Alien Trilogy, but it does it like 10 secs after the previous crashing point ;D
The real good news to me are that the guys involved in SSF are still working on it (I can´t read japanesse so their page its impossible to understand to me) lets hope they keep the good work until a worthy emulator for the Saturn is released

Still crashes trying to run the FMV background on the main menu in Hardcore 4x4 too.

I keep 0.8 lying around as well as generally I find it to be the faster version for running on older PCs. Speaking of speed, I've noticed many people consider Yabause to be the faster emulator... but my PC runs SSF fine ta about 30-50fps depending on the game and Yabause just crawls along at unplayable speeds

If I remember correctly, Yabause runs better on Single core CPUs, while SSF runs better on Multicore CPUs. Also Yabause uses an OpenGL based graphics core, so you get some nice enhancements and filters like what you get with Project64.

In my case Yabause is unplayable, buggy screen, slow speed, lots of games not working at all...

I would expect it to run ok on that if Yabause doesn't support multi threading but it seems rarther bizzare that it struggles so much on a 1.8ghz core duo when SSF will still pump out about 15- 20fps on a 1.8Ghz Core Solo.

I said that too early, it crashes again Why can't SSF work properly in fullscreen, am I the only one who encounters that problem? Playing in a window isn't really my thing...
