Okay, I did some looking. Its definitly not a Samsung, mine is white too. But I was still trying to figure out what the heck is going on with it being NTSC, and using odd power. The model # is mk-80219 07 After looking around and finding VERY little on this model, it seems that it truly is a Jap NTSC, that uses euro power. Thats what I gathered from the 2 google links that I found on this model. Although they were just posts by other people asking about them Didnt see any mention of this exact model on wiki or sonic retro. Heres the links: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_Saturn#Asian_modelsinfo.sonicretro.org/Sega_Saturn_Models#White_Japanese_SaturnI guess I just got my hands on a really screwy model type or something Lemme know if you guys have any other thoughts on this please.

Considering that the seller is from Thailand, I'm going to say it's a generic Southeast Asian model.
I doubt Sega cared enough about each individual countries in Southeast Asia to release a country specific model around there, and even though the model is NTSC (and most SEA countries use PAL), most PAL TVs can display NTSC (not vice-versa, though), so that's no big deal.
In sum: 1. NTSC -- rule out EU models 2. 220-240v -- rule out Japanese / North American models 3. White color -- only released in Asia 4. Round power cord -- most SEA countries seem to be able to take this type.

Some asian countries use 240V, that's why the console you linked to is a 240V system, but still NTSC. Here is your answer ^^ Seriously I have one of these exact consoles, it's a JAP made system for 240V asian market.

Hey guys, just reporting back. I got the power transformer and hooked everything up, took a deep breath and fired it up. Everything started up perfectly. (I was pretty nervous I might fry my brand new Saturn) Been playing Castlevania, and it seems to run pretty well. Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate all your help in getting me setup and taken care of. In case anybody comes along reading this, what I did was take a 220v European plug and buy a converter to allow me to play it in US. Here is the converter I used: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360224620499&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:ITNow I think I will look into getting more games for this bad boy. 1 just isnt enough!

Hey fellas, I was looking for a little advise about 2 things if you dont mind. First issue Im having is dealing with saves. I saved my game, but then it vanished after I unplugged the system. Then I found out I need to install the battery in the back, or buy a save cart? Im not even sure what Im looking for. I guess Im just wondering, should I go out and get a battery every now and again and hope that my saves stay intact, or buy one of these memory things? The other issue Im having is that Castlevania is slowing down at certain moments. Do I need to buy a RAM upgrade to fix this? Thanks

Ah ok. I will prolly get myself a save cart off ebay sometime then. As for the slowdown... that just sucks Im really suprised they would design it like that. Oh well, its annoying, but game is still enjoyable Thanks for the tips!
