That's impressive, has this been tested on real hardware?

That's INSANE to think about.
Though if anyone's getting any ideas of running games that didn't get perfect ports on the Saturn in that, I'll kick you in the groin. I know someone will suggest it. I JUST KNOW...
Still, really impressive!

I'd absolutely love to play some early arcade releases on the Saturn, I wonder what the speed is like...

I hope that number beside the Wonder Boy screenshot isn't a framerate count...
I would cry with joy if this thing could play games like Mappy, which I imagine it would be able to.

That's impressive, has this been tested on real hardware? I've tested some FBA drivers on saturn but not all. I hope that number beside the Wonder Boy screenshot isn't a framerate count... I would cry with joy if this thing could play games like Mappy, which I imagine it would be able to. Yes it's the framerate of the game but SSF give something wrong, on real saturn i think it should be 25-30 and not 20. The Wonderboy driver (in fact Sega System 1 driver) is not yet optimized, i still have to replace C cpu core by raze in ASM. I hope I can reach at least 40-50 fps.

Homebrew programmers are finally reaching the point where most basic sprite-based games can now be ported to the Saturn with ease, and it's seems basic 3D graphics are slowly becoming more advanced. Following this latest project, I'd love for someone to convert SegaSonic The Hedgehog (AKA Sonic Arcade) with analogue controller support emulating the original trackball... better yet, Dark Edge would be fantastic to play without the need for MAME at last. Considering there are some games out there being made that use the 4MB RAM upgrade cartridge and the Saturn's similarities with the later CP System boards - note that both share the same Motorola 68000 chip and Hitachi Super-H 2 processor in their respective architecture - it may even be that one day we could play Marvel VS Capcom, Street Fighter III or Red Earth on our favourite console thanks to such efforts! Who said the amateur Saturn programming scene was dead?

Buy a VCD card for your Saturn, burn video footage of Marvel Vs. Capcom and Street FIghter III, put in tray and pretend you're playing it on your Saturn.
Always worked for me.

Street Fighter 3?! If we're in hoax mode, why not just push the boat out and download footage of Virtua Fighter 3 instead?

While we're at it, why not Virtua Fighter FIVE?!
