Has anybody ever played this or even completed it?
I know it’s seen as a kiddies game and too young for everyone to consider (in some peoples opinions!), but I only got it to add to my collection and having giving it a quick go, I really liked the graphics and puzzle elements and therefore gave it a real go.
Anyway, if anyone has ever played this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you tell me where the first frikkin black key is?
Having put 10+ hours into this game, I feel I must complete it lol.
Again, just to re-iterate.......PLEASE tell mw ehere the black key is. The only walkthrough I can find on the net does not tell you.

lol. This was the first Saturn game I ever completed. It came with the 2nd hand package I bought as my introduction to the Saturn and didn't really have any great plans to play it. However, I decided to try it out and found I just couldn't stop playing it till I reached the end. It was some time ago though and sorry, but I have no idea where the first black key is!

Aww come on man! No bugger on the internet knows where it is so your my only help if you completed it!
All the Youtube video walkthroughs stop when you have to find this key and the written walkthrough just says 'use the black key'....as if by some miracle you start out with it in your inventory!
Someone suggested it's where you get the Tornado Morph (which I have), but I cannot remember where I got this Morph from!

Had a quick look through a walkthrough and see what you mean. I noticed further down it mentions picking up another black key. Is it possible to do this earlier than it says in the guide?

No lol. You need to use the first black key to get through to where the 2nd is! Going ton have to put casper in an Asda bag and then back on the shelf so its not staring at me!

Oh well! Don't seem to recall having a problem there though. I can only remember not being able to get to one particular screen with some items in it that were visible but just couldn't reach them even though I was right at the end of the game and could complete it without them.

although youd think the game is aimed at kids i really enjoyed it as an adult (well being 21 atleast atm). The puzzle elemtns are fun and the music is awesome. It's one of my top titles for the saturn.
Only gripe is the friggen loading times between the rooms it seems stupidly long.

Surely Gamefaqs or a playthrough on youtube will give you the answer?

Nope, they all end where you find the black key.
I have literally spent about 4 hours looking for this key and im pretty sure it's just not there...

I've been meaning to get this game myself. I like a good puzzle game and from the sound of things this one is quite fun.
I had a look at that walkthrough and noticed that several times before it says "use the black key" it says "get key" without specifying what sort of key... Is it possible that in any of those instances it's the black key which he is referring to? I'm guessing that the game has a set of just generic keys, but I can see the writer meaning to type "black key" and just putting down "key" by mistake.

RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!
Seems appropriate to bring this topic back from the dead, considering the game.
Anyway, I've had this in my backlog for a while and finally started playing it. Glad I did. Got past the first act and had a real blast. It's pretty relaxing (despite the annoying attacks by the other ghosts) and a fun exploration game. Can't imagine it's great for replayability, but I'm having a surprising amount of fun with it.

....and Martiniii, I know this is 10 years later, but to answer your question: there are generic keys everywhere that just open doors and stuff. However there are also coloured doors that require specific keys. I imagine the 'get key' is just for a normal key.
