The only game that works really well with the wheel is time warners VR virtua racing.
If you can stand the legoland graphics.

As far as 1st party wheels go the Saturn one is pretty damn good!
God I love wheels, my Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel is da bomb yo!

As far as console wheels go; My favoured wheel is the Fanatech for Xbox/Ps2. It has adjustable wheel lock, and proper motorised force feedback (wheel shakes from left to right). Shame there aren't more wheels like it out there. Sadly they are hard to come by these days
