Hey, I just got a Sega Saturn from a friend. It doesnt have the cable to connect to the TV though and since its gonna be hard to find one for sale i was considering building one myself. Its an MK-80200A-50 model, and I already got an S-Video to Scart cable, that I will probably use to adapt to saturn. So I was wondering if any of you have ever build one of these cables and if i could get some info on it from you.

Welcome to the board Havoc Cant say I have, are you building Saturn to SCART, Saturn to Svideo or Saturn to RF? The quality of the picture through the RF cable is very poor so I cant recommend it. If you are in the UK and just want a saturn RF lead I have a spare you can have just for the price of the postage. Mick.

I thought it was a fair swap. Anyway it was a Dreamcast cable not a Saturn one, so it was my mistake!

My understanding is that the mini DIN plugs that are required to make a Saturn cable are rather hard to come by...

on their own yes, but there are so many RF leads floating about, both original and 3rd party, that you can pick one up for pence and just chop off the connector.

Anyway. I got a scart cable, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Dragon Ball The legend, Tomb Raider and Nights into Dreams for €10. Hmm... Am I a lucky bastard or what? XD
