Hi all. Just wonderin if any1 can help. The colour appears to have completely vanished from the picture my Japanese Saturn displays. I've tried the AV lead from my UK Saturn but that hasn't helped. Any suggestions as last time I used it it was fine. All help kindly accepted. Many thanx.

Are you using an RGB Scart, and have you changed TVs since you last played it?

I'm using the scart cable that came with it. The red, white and yellow leads. I've tried my UK RGB scart lead and that didn't help. Not changed tv's and my UK Saturn which is plugged into the same tv has no probs whatsoever.

Bizzare, you should try posting it in the "RGB discussion" board over at nfggames.com/forum2/index.phpThey are all console modders, and know their stuff for the most part.

The lead with red, white and yellow leads is a composite cable, not RGB and it won't work. Make sure your cable is an RGB scart lead and try different SCART sockets on your TV - AV1 is usually your best bet.

Like I said Go ask the NFG crowd, they understand the technicalities of RGB to a T.

Have you (or someone else) altered the settings on your tv, first thing I would check! Make sure it's set to auto select or NTSC/RGB...... failing this, take chizzles and davys advice....... and have a look at davys faq......

Best case is that you just need a new RGB cable, worst case it that is the saturns inners that are broke! But nine times out of ten its the cable.
See if you can take the console around to friends or family TV and give it a shot
