Spent some time with Courier Crisis. This game got a lot of hate BITD (and some today even) but I actually quite like it. I'd seen one recent review who said that it gave him a Crazy Taxi vibe, and I think I agree with that. Although Sega would never have had people being run over. I agree that CC isn't nearly as bad as its reputation. It was another game back upon release that I wanted. I liked the idea behind it.

Haven't played much Saturn as I've been abroad for work but I can say I have finally completed Gungriffon and Bug Too! recently. Bug Too! was such an epic challenge so I'm relieved I now have the option of a FULL level select when I next play it as a reward for my troubles. Also, on Last Bronx again, I would totally watch that live action direct to video movie they released in Japan. It looks so amazingly cheesy and low budget, bet it would be great fun. Yes, the movie actually looks quite enjoyable. I believe its on Youtube somewhere.

Seeing as GT Interactive was involved I can see why people were ready to throw it under the bus, as they weren't exactly the best software makers on the console.

First time playing code veronica on DC in 18 years. I did however beat ot which is a great accomplishment for me! However i missed out on my favorite gun magnum because for those of *[ looking to best it if you have not. Make sure you take the damn empty fire extinguisher with you, after you use it in the beginning of the game. Make sure it is in your item box do not leave it behind in the security check box like I did or no magnum and 50 handgun bullets towards the end of the game. With that being said it still was easily beatable but that would have been a big help. Got a D rank for playing for too long and 20 saves died 6 times. I expected this on my first try tho in 18 years. A good RE game will play again as i like mastering these games did the first 3 id like to try to in this one it is longer and harder compared to the 3rdolder ones.

Bug Too! was such an epic challenge so I'm relieved I now have the option of a FULL level select when I next play it as a reward for my troubles. Congrats Sych and nice to see you back. Especially for Bug. You're a better man than me, I generally give up on platformers on the first level e.g. Sonic 3D, Pandemonium, Earthworm Jim 2 etc etc. Cheers Barry, good to be be back. I know that feeling, especially when it comes to platformers. Nowadays, I just don't have the patience for them so I sold off a whole heap of Saturn platformers last year and only kept the ones that were exclusive to Saturn. Although I kept Pandemonium as I couldn't bring myself to part with it. But I gladly said goodbye to Capcom Generations 2 Ghouls 'n' Ghost Collection, Sega Ages Mickey & Donald and Rayman. All good games but it's my patience levels just aren't what they used to be. Bug Too! is definitley worthy of a shot. At first, I found it incredibly hard but once I started memorising certain things in certain levels it became easier. Also I found the less impulsive I was when playing it, I tended to do better. The FMV Cut scenes are quite nice to watch if not a bit random but interesting all the same. Also, on Last Bronx again, I would totally watch that live action direct to video movie they released in Japan. It looks so amazingly cheesy and low budget, bet it would be great fun. Yes, the movie actually looks quite enjoyable. I believe its on Youtube somewhere. Didn't know there was a Video movie of Last Bronx. I'd be interested in checking it out as I found all the character endings on the game a bit lacklustre so anything extra is a bonus.

This might actually take the crown from Sega Rally as my favorite Saturn game. Great soundtrack, good controls with the analog pad. Feels like the perfect lovechild of Daytona and Sega Rally.

Interesting to see someone like that game. I personally enjoy it as well despite some issues. It was a rushed port and not as clean graphically as Rally but there is just something I like about it. You are right it feels like the speed of Daytona with some of the Rally aesthetic.

I've heard the japanes version is a lot better? that version sold very well and was also very popular in japan. me I hate the game. unplayable almost. I believe the JPN and US versions are identical. I also assume the PAL version is the same but as usual ill assume that one is not worth it if the regular format caveats apply. Loved looking at photos of Touring Car back in the day but truth is it suffered from the late console program rush jobs. I believe I read that the develops who did the Saturn port weren't happy with the final product. I remember wanting to like all of the late release Saturn games simply because we were getting polygon games finally. However the end results weren't always clean. That being said, some of them came out great like Last Bronx. As for STC, if you get a handle on the game, I can see how it can be very likable. To me it has a steep learning curve trying to get the controls down. Graphically I enjoy the polygons and the odd sense of blazing speed.

I agree, however, they did add some pretty cool features I had never seen in any prior beat'em up before like hopping on the horse and taking out enemies instead of being just on foot. It sucks when the enemy steals your horse though lol

Played through D for the first time last night. Very entertaining, if not dated, game. I got the "bad" ending intentionally just because i was curious and i'll more than likely watch someone else play through and get a better one. I haven't picked up Enemy Zero yet, but it's pretty expensive right now.

It sucks when the enemy steals your horse though lol Also if you like that one you can also try out nekketsu oyako or hot blooded family. One more Crows the battle action game. Both cost more then tenchi but worth having.
