It's dog shit, don't waste your money. It's a Sega Away Team title, which stupidly lead me to believe it would be alright, oooooh how wrong I was.
Awful controls, terrible visuals, LOADS of slowdown (actually more than I've seen on any other PAL release)
I had another play this morning to see if my memory was faulty, it was not.
It's piss poor games like this that make me embarased to be a Saturn owner. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I been playing Wipeout all night so-far. It rocks. I'd forgotten how much.
Bitch of a jump on track 3, though!

I played through some of Earthworm Jim 2 (backup) on Wednesday night, I got as far as the level "Inflated Head" but it was too tough to get past. Good thing I have a password for the level before it.

Sega Worldwide Soccer 97' and Sega Rally today. As for SWS, I was a lot better at it when I was 12 I remember setting half time for 15 min, difficulty on easy and winning 107-0 (score counter stopped at 99-0 though)

Took delivery of Soukyugurentai Otokuyo today - it is torturing me having it just sitting on my desk until I get home.

HOTD for me today. Poor conversion, but I still love it, never seen textures so bad though

Recently bought World Series Baseball II and playing that at the moment. Being English I only have a rough grasp of the rules / teams but it's still a good crack to play. It's fairly easy to work out really (unlike that pesky offside rule in NHL Powerplay!!)

Strangely, I too have been playing a baseball game although it was world series baseball 1. I have found it some what confusing but yes defiantly easier then NHL Powerplay :/

Just clocked up my 1st hour on Soukyugurentai - what a game.
I was surprised to notice some slowdown on occasions - it seems to happen when you lock onto the max no. of targets while the screen is very busy - it doesn't always happen (experienced it maybe 3 times in the hour), it passes very quickly and doesn't effect gameplay. No big deal but I'm not used to experiencing slowdown on the Saturn.
Its also a shooter that isn't all that import friendly - most of the options are in japanese so its hard to figure out some of the more detailed stuff which is available on the 2nd options screen - there's an faq at gamefaqs that helps with that.
Its a class act though - has left a bigger impression on me than Radiant Silvergun did after 1st playing it. I haven't really got into RSG but I can see me spending some time with this.
Apparantly this is the special edition - the gameplay has been tweaked and it has a demo of Battle Garegga too (1st level playable).

Not technically a Saturn gaming day, because my brain is marginally bigger than my wallet (which unfortunately isn't very big). - but today I've been playing Radiant Silvergun today via the joys of SSF, and it's allright. Although I prefer simpler shooters that only have one or two shoot buttons. I'd buy a non-mint copy for £70 (they do show up every now and then) although no way in hell would I expend £130 for this game.
