Why didn't Sega release this over here, bouncing boobs aside I have to say I think it's ace. Great graphics and some ace playability.

I think Sega's excuse was that Tecmo wanted a fair bit of money for Sega to bring the liscence to the West.
It woulda been nice though to see it come over as the "bounce" could have helped sell a few copies. Plus I think the 3D engine surpasses VF2's

Its also a lot closer to the arcade original then the PS1 version, so it would have been nice to show to the Saturn haters. Even Tecmo choose to use the Saturn version in DOA:Ultimate.

Saturn was pretty much dead in the west by the time the Japanese version was released.
