Bought Fifa 98 for the Saturn about two years ago, though I was disapointed, I grew up playing it on the N64 which looked and played better. However just had my cousin round (he's 12, turning into a right Saturn nut) he spotted it, so I stuck it on. Must say this game is actually pretty damn good, I've no time for the newer Fifa games, however this is a top multiplayer game, it has to be said playing this game in the indoor stadium is possibly one of my best Saturn experiences. One of the games finished 11-10 The matches played on a pitch are not half as fun. Worth a punt, can probably get it for £2 in Gamestation. One of your missions (especially if you already own it) is to play this game in the indoor stadium with one of your mates, Christ you can shoot from pretty much the half way line.

Fifa 98, is a great game, but the optimization on the Saturn port is between slim and non-existent, there is so much slowdown it seems to drop to about 10 FPS at some points! Fifa 98 is amazing and really worth playing... on the PC

I had Fifa 98 on N64 (good graphics, only World Cup options) and Fifa 98 Road to World Cup on PS1 (shabbier graphics with a wealth of modes) which includedthe SPL ('mon the Bhoys! ) which is very rare to see in a footy game (although 96 had it as well). Oh yeah, I remember the 5 a-side Indoor Stadium! That was great fun. The pitch was so small, sometimes when the CPU Goalkeeper ran up to kick the ball out, he'd run outside the box and cause a free kick right on the line. ;D

I bought it in a bundle of other Saturn titles a while ago and have only tested it to make sure it works. I might stick it back in if you guys reckon it's worth playing.

God what a shit game! Luckily we had one decent footie game on Saturn called Sega Worldwide Soccer.
Think ISS Pro 98 was one of the main reasons I got a PlayStation.
