as bad as sonic 3d is...i quite like the soundtrack. and it brings back some feelings of childhood joy even though as a child i hated this game, because it had stupidly slippery controls.

SWS 97' the worst? Obviously you never played FIFA 98' You're right I didn't But I've played on the PSOne version, 'though ! Here is the reason it's in my "flops"... I was very upset about SWS '97 'cause, when I bought it several years ago, I was sure it was THE soccer game I was hoping for. I remembered (when I was "young") a soccer game on the Saturn which had a horizontal scrolling (like the Super Sidekick series) and I was sure it was this one ! I was really angry when I discovered it ain't Still I can't remember which soccer game it was... I'm still looking for it... Pretty sure it wasn't Hat trick S but not too sure... And it seems I can't find another one Do you recall wich game I'm talking about ?

What do you mena it hasn't horizontal scorlling? SWS has 4 camera angles including vertical, horizontal and two diagonal ones. Other soccer games that have horizontal camera are... I guess all footies on Saturn have it, maybe you're talking about World League Soccer 98'?

Of course it has an horizontal scrolling, a really ugly one but still, it's an horizontal angle of camera, I know, I didn't mean it hadn't. I meant that this game doesn't really seem to be designed for the use of this particular angle of camera (just like the NHL series by Electronic Arts) and that it wasn't this one I was searching for, all these years. But you might be right 'though! It may be WLS '98 ! (I've just checked on youtube) If so, you're the man, Sonix!!!! ;D I'll try to find a copy.

Oh so that what meant You know I play SWS 97' on the horizontal camera and it seems fine for me though I wish you could choose a different camera angle. I have WLS 98', found it on ebay for 2 quids but I habe to spend another 4 to polish the cd which is really scratched so I can't play it right now :/ Of course the seller told it's "like new", yeah right. Despite the low price, WLS isn't that common unfortunately, at least on ebay, but I hope you'll find it. Game seems to be pretty good though the controls are a little awkward, I lost 0-8 in my second match, lol.

You're damn right! It's hard to find... But you've just scared me! I've found a cheap copy of Three Dirty Dwarves on eBay without its box and the seller said the Cd is in "excellent condition", too! Argh! Hope it will work (at least... even if I'd prefer the Cd to be without any scratch)

Well, the description of WLS I bought was... well there was no description I had to send a PM to this guy to ask what's the game's condition so you just have to be careful. Even the worst scratched discs will work but there's no point to tire your Saturn... for example I have to resist playing Guardian Heroes, WLS 98', Command and Conquer and Need for Speed till I have the cash to send them for some polishing but man it's tough to wait :/

Can I say that Alone in the Dark JIB is a fantastically enjoyable game and Virtual Hydlide although I can see it has faults was one of the best adventure games I ever played. In my opinion, Chaos Control is the worst Saturn game. I thought it would be like Virtua Cop but it is truly dull and devoid of entertaining value.

Any chance we could see the nominations again, so I can remember what was in the running to win/lose, etc?

torrente Worst Games (I've played!) ever, on the system: 03- Virtual On Cyber Troopers WITHOUT the "right pad"
Seriously? Whoa. This game is fantastic! I do own the Twin sticks though...
I'd have to agree with most, Nights is *Really THAT Great*
I think that Bomber Man should be on the BEST list, It's seriously the best Bomberman to date! Additionally, I play the hell out of Three Dirty Dwarves with my boys regularly.. I've been hooked since the demo with the Dennis Rodman looking guy came out...
When it comes to worst, I'd have to bust out my CD case, there are some pretty horrid games... Alone in the Dark 2 was definitely one of them!

Shining Force III should seriously have been in the top 3 since it has better replay value than PDS IMO, also ive got 100+ hours out of SF3 but havent actually played Nights or Dragon force that much. I haven't played SFIII, but Dragon Force has eight 30+ hour campaigns in one game, so that's some epic replay value right there.

My second time with Dragon Force, I played 70+ (!) hours on one campaign (Gongos or Tristan, can't remember). I grinded levels, found all (or almost all) the items, did the sub-missions and had a fucking blast. Amazing game. But if you're not a grinder, circa 30-35 hours per campaign sounds reasonable. And the campaigns are quite diverse. Just make sure you have a backup memory, since you need a cleared file for two of them (if I remember correctly). Actually, I'll start playing it again when I've finished Shining the Holy Ark (again) and Shining Wisdom. Or after I've finished Albert Odyssey, in case I manage to find it for less than 90 bucks.
