I have collected all the final fight games on the super famicom (4 of them, 5 if you count FF Guy with CD) and am looking to add final fight revenge to my saturn collection! I know it is a 1 on 1 fighter (and isn't meant to be that good).........but I do still want it..........so how much should I expect to pay for it? There is one on ebay at £45, if that is it's value then I'm gonna have to pass???

Typical price here in JP land is about $70. So that means ebay will be at least $120 on average. Its a game not many people actually want, so price fluctuates a lot.
Oh for the true FF fan, get FF1 on MCD. Its light-years better then the SFC version.

So £45 isn't too bad (around $90).................. Will be a while before I get it though!..........
I have a pal version of FF for the MegaCD, and although it is good! (best home version), the MD pad is so shit, diagonals are a nightmare!
FF2 on the SFC is gravy though :-)

I think this is a clear case of you having shit, well used MD pads, apart from the jap style saturn pads the 6 button MD pad is the most solid and responsive pad SEGA ever made.
I had a similar argument with a friend of mine over the wireless NES pads, he claimed they were unresponsive and the on buttons slipped draining the batteries, the simple way to settle that was showing him my 2 sets of mint pads which were perfect, responsive, and had stiff on/off switches which there was no way to accidentally knock on/off.
Yes MD pads are pieces of crap after thousands of hours use, but that goes for SNES pads too, and I have a big box of fucked SNES pads to prove it lol

I've gone through a quite a few original Genesis 3-button pads. The buttons all seem to become unresponsive after awhile. SNES pads seem to fare better in my experience. I didn't use the official 6 buttons Genesis pads long enough to get a good idea.
All that said, I think the Saturn pads absolutely blow the shit out of both of 'em. ;D

I prefer my pad to have an actual cross (+) for the movement, not a circle like the sega ones!......makes hitting moves in fighters more difficult!

I like both pads. I've always preferred (Super)-Streetfighter II with a Megadrive pad (hurts my thumb though!).

I personally wouldn't pay what they are asking for Final Fight Revenge! There was no excuse for that game to be that ugly at the end of the saturns run! Plus I hear it plays like a dog!
