Just a quicky! Got the chance of picking up Virtua Racing (Jap) from my local indie for £6.99 (complete, instructions, no spine)
I'll probably get it anyway to add to my Jap collection, but is it any better than the horrible MD version?
Cheers

It's bloody excellent, go for it, 10000000% better then the MD and 32X versions, great fun.

VR got universally hammered across the whole magazine spectrum, but perversly, I enjoyed it a lot The loading times are brutal, but the game plays very well and looks good. Definately worth picking up for cheap.

32X version is actually superior than the saturn one IMO

I have both, have just played both, I cant see your reasoning tbh
32X version is jerkier, has less tracks, less cars, and glitchy environments.
The championship mode alone makes the Saturn version superior IMHO.

I've got it on Saturn. I have a soft spot for the Megadrive version as well!

LOL - I remember the MD version! I still have it, boxed complete, I think.
As I recall, it was very difficult to see what was going on in the race.

I remember when it was announced that it would be £70 and can remember being shocked to say the least. I came home from work and begged my, then, gf til she gave in and bought it for an early pressie for me!
