Thinking of pricing - Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was around the £90 mark when it was released.
Super Street Fighter 2 was also £70 on MD if I recall.
But yeah, Virtua Racing isn't bad at all, just a little dull =)
(Worth seven pounds though.)

I'm sure my friend paid £60 for streets of rage 3 when it first came out!

I think Rise Of The Robots was around the £80 mark - yet another nail in its coffin.
A far worse sequel though ...
(which means a game worth less than 5% according to Amiga Format)
That said, these days expect to pay up to £60 for X-Box 360 titles =/

What was really odd is there wasnt even anything special about Robot's visuals... they were just sprite renders of models =/

The PC version did look a lot nicer than the console renditions, and had some superb animation, although it was a while ago so I may be entirely wrong.
The press lied an enormous amount about ROTR.
Funny though, the video game press these days do that for most shit games if they have a big name or enough PR and free holidays backing them.
Reading any issue of OXM of the past few years of OPS2 would affirm that.
