So, I remember seeing info in some magazine, that Sonic the Fighters was supposed to get released on Saturn.... but it didn't.
Any ideas why they scrapped this idea? I mean, Sonic the Fighters is a nice game, with characteristic graphics. Having such a Arcade Title for SS wouldn't hurt the console. As Sega Saturn did not have any good Sonic games (Sonic R was... Meh. and Sonic Jam was just a compilation) delivering a port of good fighting game would be neat.
Your thoughts?

Yea, I've always wanted this one on the Saturn. I think the biggest kick in the pants is the fact that they actually used some of the models/characters for Fighters Megamix but they were executed horribly.
Oh well. At least it made it to consoles later on. Woulda been awesome having a Sat version tho.

I certainly would have liked this to have gotten the Saturn home treatment, yet I can't say it's a crying shame with all the far superior 3D fighters Saturn already had. You mean D-Xhird... right? *check my sig*

What's odd is that a Gamefaqs user review agrees to some extent...
