I know Croc is transformed, Sega Rally is easier and Manx TT is actually worth having but which games have you discovered are better played with the 3d pad?

I wouldn't go as far as to say Nights is transformed, unfortunatly. It is actually perfectly playable with the digital pad...

Duke Nukem 3D is really nice with the 3D pad and Sonic 3D is also surprisingly good with it

I think the turning in Sonic R is a lot easier with the analog pad,but maybe thats just me.
And even with the analog pad,I dont think Manx TT is worth paying more than 50p for.

It is actually perfectly playable with the digital pad... Have you ever played Nights for any leangth of time with the d-pad? After a couple of hours it feels like you have a 30 stone transvestite sat on your thumbs. Manx TT benefits hugely from the 3D pad, it's easilly the best controller to play it with.

I can't play touring car for shit with the analog pad. The range of movement is just too sensitive for the analog pad IMO.
I'd think the game definitely needs the steering wheel.

I've seen him turn into the Terminator when someone disses the big S. He buys anything with Sega on it - no matter what ;D Broken crockery or an old cardboard box - if it says Sega he's having it. Even he hates Touring Car - and that's after trying every single permutation of set up on every car. Don't worry if you can't drive it - no-one can! ;D

I support SEGA, but damn, if I don't think they are making something worth buying why should I support it by buying it.

Wing Arms plays pretty damn well with the 3D pad, although you have to alter the settings a bit.

The analogue pad works great with Duke 3D and Quake when using Jevons control mode (sticl to look and X, Y, B, C buttons to move. Also i found Wipeout 2097 very good with the analogue pad as well.

Wipeout 2097 is definately improved. Daytona CCE wont let me use the digi buttons to accelerate and the analog to steer. It's either/or.
Which is a bummer.
