So, I was trying to get mouse control working in SSF. I went to Option->Controller and selected "Mouse" for "Player 1:B". Then I redefined the buttons. My mouse only has three buttons so I had to use my keyboard for a couple of buttons, but SSF didn't seem to mind. But nothing happened. I tried resetting, but the mouse cursor still didn't show up, and the emulator still only accepted inputs from the "standard controller". The same thing happened in both Version 11 and Version 12. Finally I tried using "Mouse" in "Player 1:A" instead of "Player 1:B", and presto, I have Saturn Mouse control in SSF.
What's still bugging me is, I don't like the thought of having to reconfigure the controller setup every time I want to switch between standard controller and mouse. And surely, there must be some reason why the Controller window in SSF has "Player 1:B", "Player 1:C", etc. So how do I get SSF to retain the configurations for both standard joypad and mouse?

I may be wrong, but I thought SSF keeps track of your various controller setups across multiple games.
Btw, have you been able to get a mouse working w/ HotD? I can play VC1, VC2, Henry Explorers, and Mighty Hits w/ a mouse, but not HotD for some reason.
