I have two spare machines I want to mod and sell, but they are early model 1s and I need a few weeks for the shipment of eproms to arrive, so I can put region free boot roms in them. However shipping from here to UK is pricey, so you might want to look for someone who does the job for you there. Bad_Ad84 is in the UK I believe, and he can fix up Saturns. The clear Saturn's, for whatever reason (Zyrobs?!) have incompatibility issues with some titles, more specifically, the 1st print of Outrun (oddly) and also (unfortunately) Metal Slug... would you believe. No, only the first prints of Outrun and Space Harrier. Both got later pressings that fixed the issue. The problem was that their sound driver used command that the 68k has natively broken, but the later Saturns used an ASIC that had the 68k and the SCSP combined, and this revision behaved differently for that command. The Genesis 3 has compatibility issues with one or two games (Gargoyles, I think) for the same reason. Metal Slug works fine on later boards, I specifically tested that.

Just out of interest if I were to run my model 2 saturn through the xrgb, are there any settings on the xrgb that would help eliminate the screen wobble problem at all?

Out of interest I checked my Saturn and it is a VA9 model. I had the wavy lines on parts of the picture too but switching to a clean sync cable cured it, so that could be a solution for NTSC console owners at least.
Sorry for not answering this sooner, no, there aren't any settings I can think of.
