Well...I killed a lot of the enemies, and then it became more like a maze game, trying to figure out where I was going. =) Pretty fun.
Good job on the emulator conversion.

I can't get SSF to work. Saturn emulation is pretty bad.

I can't get SSF to work. Saturn emulation is pretty bad. And yet still better than N64 emulation, and almost on par with PSX emulation.

I managed to get SSF working perfectly on my daughters laptop so I'm able to try games with daemon tools before buying them or I if it's a really expensive title then it's better than nothing

PSX emulation is OK as I've managed to get that working but a few games refuse to work properly. That said, it's still very buggy. SSF will not work no matter what I do and I can't be arsed to install Daemon tools for Satourne or something. At least with the PSX emulators, games just run from the iso images without the need for virtual drives.

It's emulating a Saturn, not a virtual drive, so yes you need Daemon tools on top of it...

SSF does run original Saturn game discs too

What I don't understand is why a Saturn emulator can't run iso images without virtual drives like the PSX emulators can. I'd be happy to play games from a disc if SSF actually worked which it doesn't.

And SSF does work. It has been working fine for years. You are doing something wrong with it.

Because why bother adding support for 823197 image formats when there are applications that do that already. Because it makes it easier to use. And SSF does work. It has been working fine for years. You are doing something wrong with it. No it doesn't. I downloaded it, I tried running the program and it said it needed a dll file. I got the dll file and it still doesn't work. Therefore I haven't done anything wrong with it as the program refused to work "straight out of the box" so to speak.

It would work "out of the box" if your machine met the minimum requirements for running the app. Which includes up-to-date directx.

I know what you mean, clicking download and then clicking through 3 or 4 windows to install something is so troublesome.
Perhaps you could tell us which .dll is in the error message you encountered?

Perhaps you could tell us which .dll is in the error message you encountered? ...except I'd have to pay for Daemon Tools which is why I can't be arsed to download it. Unless you're talking about downloading it from a torrent site which is both illegal and might be/contain malicious software... I can't remember the name of the dll but I downloaded it and it didn't help matters much.
