First duel of the week and its motorcycle mayhem. So which will it be: Hang On Gp 96, Manx TT Superbike or Road Rash? Pick one and comment below HANG ON GP 96'MANX TT SUPERBIKEROAD RASH

Please don't judge me for this, but I've always rated Hang On GP '96 over Manx TT Super Bike, while Road Rash doesn't even get a look into this particular contest as far as I'm concerned. For some reason, the AI in Manx TT is prone to "rubber banding" that either puts your opponents ahead to the point where you can't make up the gap, or they'll easily overtake you when you're leading a race, meaning that only the split screen mode has any real longevity. Also, while its handling is a little too sensitive at first, Hang On GP was developed by Genki and is an early demonstration of their later racing pedigree, not to mention it has a lot more content. As for Road Rash, I seem to recall this being released (on the Saturn, at least) around the same time as The Need For Speed, which is a vastly superior game in my opinion.

Sych! Why! Hard choice for me. I love both Manx TT and Hang on GP. Will need to think about this one before voting. Though I do agree with Anthaemia. that the AI in Manx TT can rubber band pretty hard.

This is EXACTLY the same reason why Manx TT isn't even gonna factor into my decision. The rubber banding is crazy on that game. So for me it's between Road Rash and Hang On Gp' I'm leaning more towards Road Rash if I'm honest as there's just a bit more to the game than just racing. But still haven't made up my mind. I just know it definitley won't be Manx TT. The rubber banding is so terrible that whenever I play it I put on the AR Cheats for the secret Superbike just to even the odds.

Makes the polls more interesting.

Road Rash gets no love from you either? Never have played road rash sadly It's pretty decent. Especially the Career mode feature. Although the FMV cuts scenes after races are quite cringe worthy as they can be mildly sexist making you roll your eyes and shake your head in quiet embarrassment for EA.

Road Rash. Hands down.
I love all the Road Rash games, and when I discovered this for Saturn in the early 2000's I was very happy to relive the old school Road Rash style with stunning 3d graphics. To be fair, Road Rash is tough to compare to the other games due to the overall style. The other games are racers while Road Rash is almost like a forever runner or on-rails motorcycle game, if that makes sense.
A few negatives I remember, the load times were brutal and the ending is disappointing... -very- disappointing.

How difficult is road rash Sych? Sometimes these old racing games are too difficult for my casual racing gamer self... cough cough sega rally (I should really invest more time in that game)

this is a hard choice. the best game on this list is by far road rash, in fact road rash is one of the best 32 bit games ever made. however that wasn't an exclusive and the best version wasn't even the saturn version, but the 3do one. of the remaining 2 games it's no doubt that manx tt is by far the best when played with 3d controller. underrated racer.

I'd say it was fair. Definitley not as difficult as Sega Rally. I also struggle with that game.

road rash is incredibly hard. I've never heard of anyone who could finish the game's main career mode. by the last level of difficulty the races are so long ans the bike you need so fast, it's crazy!

That may be true as I'm yet to finish the Career mode as I'm still halfwaythrough it but I have found that so long as I keep occasionally upgrading my bikes and other things it's a pretty decent challenge but by no means impossible. Always alot of fun going into the Schmooze mode and finding out who's trash talking you in the club and then seeing them on the track and giving them a good kick in!

Just to remind people you should be playing ManxTT with the analogue and Hang-On GP with the racing wheel. The AI makes ManxTT ridiculous, and it only has two tracks (yes I'm well aware they're based on real tracks on the Isle of Mann). However, the sense of speed it gives you is excellent. Hang-On GP is far from perfect, but is a much more complete game.

I beat the career mode in Road Rash. The ending is really unsstisfying. I don't think RR was tougher than Sega Rally.
