Interesting that this topic came up a few months ago. I've also experienced defective cables. I don't know of any specialist shops that do it as I finally got my 2 Official Sega Saturn Extension cables from Ebay after buying a third party one which didn't work. Either by the Official extension cables or buy an official US multi-tap from Ebay or Amazon. The multi-tap must be the US version as the european and JPN ones are not long enough.

Yeah, i would like to know if they finally fixed the problem with a new batch from manufacture. I am not risking my ebay account with another refund for nothing...

I've found it! These are the ones you want. They are the official sega saturn extension cables. I have the same ones and they definitely work! If you see closely at the connector port it's has the same metal as the official saturn pad connectors as opposed to the cheap third party plastic ones. You'll definitely have no issues with this one: www.ebay.com/itm/182635547014They're almost gone so you must he quick!

Ehhh, $20 usd per cable + $20 usd for shipping, that way too pricey compared to what i paid for the other platform.

Ehhh, $20 usd per cable + $20 usd for shipping, that way too pricey compared to what i paid for the other platform. I have no idea what the shipping and price is as I didnt look. Mine came boxed and bought from a different seller in Sweden but I do know that particular design of extension cabe definitely works which is why I sent the link. Probably the reason why so many people are watching it. If the shipping is not to your tastes then I'd recommend waiting for another batch of officials to be up for sale but you may be waiting several months as they do not pop up often. It's down to you. But now you know what to look for. There could be others on Ebay, I just linked the first one I saw. Remember you want the ones with the metal connectors.

Well, i only have one game i planned to play and it was albert odyssey. Is there any wireless controller for saturn ? Yes there's the official wireless sega saturn controllers but they're more hassle then they're worth as they are infrared so the controller has to be on the same level as the reciever and as they are quite rare they typically go for over £100 ($120 us) Or if you wanna gamble on a cheap third party one: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152712465259The other option is to buy an official US multi-tap

Other than ebay, is there any retro hardware website that have some old and tested stock ? Would not mind if it's cheap in pack since i plan to buy 3-4 extensions if the shipping include the lot.
