So Im finally going to take the plunge and order the XRGB mini. My curiosity level is just too high and the desire to no longer lug around a CRT when I move. I feel kind of dumb but I need help with what I should be ordering Above is the SCART cable I currently own and used with the OSSC. Now I see the XRGB comes with a scart cable that you then have to plug this one into. Is the one it comes with compatible with the one I have? Or do I need to order a specific package from them?

The mini comes with a jp21 scart connector. To save faffing about, get a jp21 rgb scart. when I got mine the seller offered a Euro scart connector instead of a jp21, depends if you have a cable already, I did, so went with the Euro scart. Both connectors are easy to get hold of, if the seller does not offer that as an option.

Marc thank you. I already have the cable in the picture above. So Im guessing that will not work with the one that comes with the mini? I will need the Euro Scart package then?
I wonder if I should go with JP21 scart because its made for NTSC? Or does that even matter?

Solaris Japan sells scart adapters for the Framemeister, I think.
The official JP21 cables for the Saturn are designed for NTSC units. Official SCART ones are designed for PAL units. The difference however is on the Saturn a/v connector, not the scart/jp21 end (in fact the official jp21 seems to use the exact same build as the PAL SCART ones that came with the model 1... the model 2 ones came with a better cable, with more shielding).
Aftermarket cables sometimes work with both PAL and NTSC units, sellers usually indicate whether they will or not.
I'd rather get a Scart adapter for the Framemeister, because that will be useful for other consoles too.

Oh the decisions!
From what I gather, the XRGB mini includes a female scart adapter but you chose between the JP21 and the EUR to be included. Then you can use your own scart cable to connect.
Im assuming the SCART cable I own (made by the retro accessories lady on Ebay) is EUR since its not 21 pin. So perhaps I should order their EUR package.
Or I guess I can just order the standard JP21 package and get a JP21 cable as well.

I reckon zyrobs idea is best, get the Euro adapter, then you can use it with all rgb scarts. My nes/snes, pc engine and megadrive look great through the mini.

There's really no point getting JP21 if you live in Europe, SCART is the standard here.
Not at all, the cables are the same save for them being wired to different pins at the SCART/JP21 end.
