Hi,
The right trigger on my MK-80116 Saturn controller is very unresponsive. It takes about 10 hard presses to work, and even then I have to press it down hard at just the right spot for it to work again. The left trigger works fine, and is also more clicky than the right trigger. I'm guessing this is a common problem on pretty much any controller with trigger buttons, but I would like some help with this one specifically.
Thanks!

have you tried taking it apart, cleaning everything and reassembling it? I do it on all consoles and controllers I get, make them work as new each time.

a similar thing happend to my N64 controller where one of the triggers wouldn't work quite often , and it was fixed by opening the controller and reseating things.. Try opening the controller and check to see everything is in order , I would clean the buttons in general too while its open.

Yup, reseating the buttons worked. I was hesitant to do it at first because I once opened up my Genesis controller for fun and spent hours trying to fit the buttons back in by placing the top on last. This time I put the buttons in the holes on the front cover first, then the rubber pads, the board and the back. Needless to say, it was much easier. I also forgot to mention that the Start button also kept getting stuck after pressing it a few times in a row, which has also been fixed. Now I can switch cameras both ways in Panzer and Daytona, drift properly in Sonic R, etc. Thanks for the help!

Glad it worked.
Reminds me I need to clean my megadrive and mega cd consoles, they're pretty gross from previous owners
