I did my own 60Hz mod a while back, as I have a soldering iron, so PAL games are no worries The unoptimised PAL games aren't the issue it's the optimised ones and no 60hz mod can ever rectify that hence why I have US or JPN versions of some well common PAL games. simple solutution. get a 50z hz pal saturn and a 60hz saturn.

The big heavy hitters in the US market have really gone up. I remember when I started collecting in 2011 PDS was about 200$ Canadian. Now I routinely see it go anywhere between 600 and 1000$!!! Burning rangers and some of the other titles have shot up too. So much so that I don't even bother looking at them anymore. The common game prices are still pretty consistent, but any of the so called "rare" game has shot up immensely. exactly. us prices have become crazy. pal not really. I obviously have no reference for Pal prices (I only own one PAL game and its Worms haha) but I'm sure PAL will start shooting up too. The prices just continually keep going up. Alot of prices I would never consider paying but to each their own. I assume it has to stop somewhere but the question becomes where and when.

That's too extreme. The problem is easily surmountable just by buying US or JPN versions.

Panzer Dragoon Saga has been the exception, but this narrative that various members on here and bloggers elsewhere keep pushing in relation to out of control prices in recent times simply isn't true. Look at the cost of your average Saturn game over time. There's pretty cool. Where do you get a price chart like that?

Or just use one of the 3 or 4 ways of playing the English language versions of the game for free and get on with your life Ha, that's what I'm doing now. I actually owned both the US and JP copies of the game at the same time circa 1998-1999. I sold them towards Dreamcast stuff. Now I'm playing the US version again by one of those methods you mentioned. The method named after a moon of saturn that doesn't use a physical CD of any sort.

I gave up on ever owning panzer saga. Modchip is good enough for me. Plus, even if i owned the game i’d likely just play a backup copy of it (i do the same for burning rangers and house of the dead even tho i own US longboxes of them)
