Hi
I'm a complete newbie here but i just purchased a crt to play good ol sega saturn light gun games on but i'm having a problem.
When using my sega saturn with an lcd tv it works great (obviously not with light guns) but when connecting to the CRT tv the picture jumps up and down.
I have tried using av cables and RGB cables but nothing seems to stop it. The tv works great with my other retro consoles using the same ports but whatever cable i'm using to connect i just get a jumpy picture.
The youtube link below is what it looks like connected through RGB on the CRT.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me an insight as to what they think is going on.

Thanks for the reply, i got it from retro gaming cables in the UK, but it does the same with composite cables and the original scart i recieved with the Saturn.

Just to be sure, it is a PAL console, right?

It is PAL yes, a friend of mine has another CRT that i'll be testing it on next week so will report back if it does the same thing.

I've seen that before but it was with an NTSC device - one of those little all-in-1 units that play a few arcade games and have composite inputs. I suspect the TV is having an issue - have you a different console to try with it? It is odd that the TV is having an issue with a PAL console though.

I'be tried a pc engine, playstation 1 and a dreamcast as none of these seem to have any problems which is strange.
