I recently discovered a model of saturn that I've never seen. It's a very rare version. It's about SAMSUNG version. On ebay actually it costs about 2.500 euros USED! But I'd like to focus your attenction to on another topic.
Talking about saturn hardware, with a "retroshopper guy", it seems that exist a better version of the saturn's hardware manifactured by other company, like JVC or Hitachi. This guy, infact, claims JVC saturn's version have a better CPU with a major clock speed. It's surprise me hearing about that, so I would ask to you which might be the best between JVC, Hitachi, Samsung or Japanese version...

The only difference between normal, Korean, JVC Victor and Hitachi consoles is the case paint job and the boot rom, the power supply (110V or 220V), and some models have a video cd card packed in. the only models with technically different clock speeds are some PAL-M modded Tectoy units, which in fact have a slightly lower clock speed due to running a slightly lower oscillator, but we are talking about a few KHz there.

infact, I have not found any technical specs of the other company version. This means they"wear" same hardware.

I've had nearly all models and seen teardowns for the ones I don't own, they all have the same hardware. The two exceptions are the SKC-1000C and the Hi-Saturn NAVI, but even those use the same Saturn components, just with a custom PCB.
But normal Hi-Saturn, V-Saturn, Samsung Saturn, etc, they all use stock hardware.

Probably the Hi-Saturn, though I like the pal/usa versions startup screen the most.
