I only just realised you can turn off the HUD at the bottom of Batsugun with shoulder button. Duh! In my defence I usually play it with an arcade stick. Combined with the 2nd screen option, makes it a lot better to play yoko. I should really read some english manuals and explore the options of my japanese games a bit more

Galactic Attack / Layer Section can also do that, but only in the normal squeezed mode, not in the rotated ones.

Useful to know. Ta'.
I thought I found an option in battle garegga to make those invisible bullets more visible, but not sure it made any difference!

Galactic Attack / Layer Section can also do that, but only in the normal squeezed mode, not in the rotated ones. It's a really nice feature this. Playing Layer Section in scaled mode means the HUD can obscure some enemies and bullets. I play it in TATE now but I really appreciated this feature when I played it on a non-rotated TV. You can also play it in hori-mode with the dpad controls rotated too - but I never played it much that way - was an interesting option though. Look forward to getting back into this game when the High score triathlon competition starts next week.

Clockwork Knight has the option of turning off the HUD with the shoulder buttons, as well.
