Hello guys I am interested in getting into Lethal enforcers. I can chose from 3 versions. The mega drive version, the mega cd and the Saturn version. in theory the version that is on the most powerful hardware (which would be the Saturn in that case) what be the best choice to get a acarde like experience. But is that really true? Would you guys recommend the Saturn version or would be the mega drive or mega cd version the better choice?

Don't bother with the MD version. It's got some really brutal requirements to access the next stage. Like, if you shoot one civilian or take a hit you have to redo the whole stage over again when you finish it. It's stupid and completely ruins the game.
Also good luck finding the guns nowadays.

Same on the arcade version if the settings are set up that way and depending on the revision. The only thing that'll cause you to repeat the whole stage on the Mega Drive or Mega CD version is not being promoted in terms of rank, shooting a civilian will result in being demoted, and lacking accuracy will result in not being promoted. You can be shot multiple times and that has absolutely no impact on being promoted. I have 3 arcade boards of it here, 3 different revisions, and at least one of those revisions is exactly like that by default unless you adjust settings in the DIPs or in the menus to make it much easier. Other revisions would see you promoted several ranks at once if your accuracy was good enough, and still only lose 1 rank for a civilian kill. The arcade version also has a mode selection between regualr play like the home versions and street mode, which has no ending and you continually select levels til you run out of lives.
