*sigh*...all these Megadrive plug-in TV Games, etc....
^_^ Can't wait till they do a Saturn one.
Imagine Panzer Dragoon Saga, Sonic R, Steep Slope Sliders, Fighters Megamix and NiGHTS all in one of those 5-in-1 TV Games, and for a mere £19.99.
~dreamy sigh~
The mass market would finally learn how amazing Saturn really was <3.

A Saturn plug-in TV Game with only one game (let's say... mmmm... Panzer Dragoon Saga for example!) will be enough for my happiness So that I could finally try it!!!! Your post... sorry... your 'beautiful dream I also enjoy' reminds me I've forgotten an eBay auction last week and loose Steep Slope Sliders! It went to an ass*** for 1,50€ ONLY!!!! I hate this guy even if I don't know him!

This is quite some considerable way off, the Saturn hardware is still going to be quite expensive to reproduce as opposed to the mostly 68000 based joystick games you see. It also has to store the best part of 600MB per single disc game including cut scenes and CD audio.
As well as this there's no money in it, the vast majority of the public view the Saturn as a joke and would not pay probably around 50 quid for a Saturn emulating TV game.
There are many other consoles these companies will concentrate on which cheaply replicated hardware before even glancing at 32bit CD based consoles, if they ever do at all!

yep, all the based cartridge consoles will be easier for making pug-in TV game. Cd based consoles: probably not due to the big size of cd games. PCE, NES and maybe SNES could be a great idea.

Can't see a NES or SNES one ever happening either tbh, Nintendo would be robbing themselves of the money they get for VC downloads.

I never did like those Console on a Joypad things. The controller always felt off and it just didn't feel right. I had an Intellivision one and it was horrible. Like, a clone of an Xbox controller but all the buttons did the same one button. Ew.
I tried another one that had like 200 games in it. I swear it coulda made Action 52 for the NES cry in horror because it was that bad...
I suppose if done right, they're not so bad, but the lack of being able to plug in a second controller or use your own game cartridges/CDs hurts them. :/

Oh why isn't Ken Kutararagi about any more? He could promise all of these things in the next Playstation.
