Hello All,
New User Intro to follow ASAP but, any chance I could just jump in and ask the benefit of your collective expertise for now?
Firstly, I would be very grateful to hear from anyone has been successful in playing CDi branded VCD's, (PAL), on any Saturn/VCD card combo.
For what it's worth, the titles I have in mind are ones which were previewed on the disk bundled with the Saturn VCD card in the UK; but each section of the case, with these versions, is branded 'CDi', as are the disks, IIRC.
Many thanks,
Stuart.

I have loads of CDi branded VCDs as I've had a Philips CDi for years, all of which with a couple of exceptions play totally fine on my PAL Mk1 Saturn with an official PAL VCD card.
The exceptions, for no apparent reason! are Star Trek VI and Nightmare on Elm Street, neither of which will play in my Saturn but both play in my CDi and Laserdisc player, I have no idea why this is.
I have also tries these discs with my Hitachi and Victor VCD cards with the same results.

Does the Saturn VCD card play VCD 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0?
