What country is your TV from and what country is your Saturn from?
I've had no probs running Saturn through LCD TVs, may I ask how much was your new TV?
Check your Saturn on a different TV, perhaps at a friends house and see if you have the same issues.

I think you're stuck with eBay for that one mate, I've looked in a few online stores and they all come up out of stock

Just some advice there is no such thing as "JP SCART." This is a common misconception. In Japan it's known as "21-pin RGB" Yes, the plug looks the same as a SCART, but they are wired differently. And in Japan nobody knows what a "SCART" is. It's officially "21-pin RGB." All such cables sold in Japan will be labled this way regardless of the system.

He is referring to the Euro-SCART designed for Japanese Saturns specifically, I believe.

You want to know what sucks on LCD televisions and the Saturn? You can't use a Light Gun
