I think he's referring to the US version which is really expensive at the moment.

Supply and demand, here's how it goes on eBay...
1. Shed loads of people suddenly become interested in owning MKR,
2. There is only 1 or 2 copies of MKR on eBay auctions when this happens,
3. They bid it up to a stupid amount (say $100),
4. The second copy goes for around $80 to the guy that lost out on the 1st one.
5. Everyone with a US copy of MKR suddenly thinks "shit man this is worth $$$$$'s"
6. Every bastard and his friend list MKR on eBay on $60 starting bids and $100 buy it nows.
7. The price of MKR stays up in the rafters for the next year.

Damn you Mick I just bought that copy of MKR you linked too, for that price I'd be stupid not to.

Tbh I had been eyeing up that copy for a few weeks but I'd never pulled the trigger, however with the discount I couldn't resist it.

it's not that good anyway, average at best. I would only recommend it if you are a fan of the anime.
For the amount you would pay, you could but much better games.

It's very good, especially if you're a fan of the anime. It tells the complete story in a more concise manner, and has the traditional Working Designs pedigree going for it.
Besides, as the last Saturn game ever released in the US, it's great for a collectible.
