Being a big SEGA and Saturn fan, I thought I’d sign up to this forum and savour in all this Saturn goodness I remember picking up my Saturn back in 1997 (no easy task as the PlayStation had become the dominant format where I lived). Indeed, the sales assistant at the store tried to sell me a PlayStation at the time but I was having none of it (not that I disliked the PlayStation, I was just always into SEGA since the MegaDrive). Anyways I walked away with the Saturn plus six games that day and haven’t regretted it one bit. For me, the Saturn era represents a golden age of software output for SEGA. Playing the likes of VF2, Sega Rally, Panzer Dragoon and the Virtua Cop games was incredible. I’ll always have fond and happy memories of the Saturn. Finally, just want to say thanks to all involved for this great site and forum and a big thanks for the Richard Leadbetter interview. SSM is still my favourite games mag to this day. Take it easy everyone
