This game keeps evading my grasps. Everytime I find a decent price it goes to $50 at the last minute and I lose the auction. Buy it Now auctions on ebay are usually around $50 as well. Anyone know where I could get it with the case and manual for cheaper, or should I just go on and pay the $50 for the game?

Buy it now is $60, watch 1 hour before the bid ends that will jump up to over $50 or someone will do buy it now.

I don't quite get why it goes for so much though. Is it really that rare? If I remember correctly the US Saturn release was the first release of the game, Playstation didn't get it for months later. Didn't that constitute a large run?

I don't think by mid '97 any Saturn games were getting production runs comparable to PlayStation titles, the run was probably a lot smaller than you think.

If you don't really need a Saturn version of it and have a PS2, maybe go for Mega Man X Collection which is probably cheaper than this one and contains all games from the "X" series.

OMG! Hate to tell you this but i am the winning bidder of that particular auction of Megaman X4 you posted. In the end I got it for $46 which in Brittish currency is just over 28 pounds. After getting my fingers burnt with Streetfighter Collection, I was determined not to let this one slip away. cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220470146179Don't worry TrekkiesUnite118 if i see another good deal on the game going around I'll let you know

I had it worse. I bid on a Jaguar once when I was really tired and out of my mind. I didn't know what I was doing. After I hit "Confirm Bid" I passed out and woke up to "YOU WON THIS ITEM FOR $75!!" and I was like "NO I DIDN'T!! FECK!! NO NO NO NO NO!!!" (Lesson learned: If you see me typing funny, tell me to go to bed. I forget to sleep, and that's when I do stupid stuff. Worse than getting drunk!!) :/ Then I signed on the Jaguar forums and they called the winning bidder of the one I won an idiot. I responded with a sad face. It's a small world, and it only hurts when you meet the other people who were watching the same auctions as you. I will understand 100% if Trekkies will never forgive you. EDIT: Of course I joke about the forgiving bit.

I have the PS1 version & was really into it for a while until I accidently erased my save file, so I haven't touched it since.
