Wow RF unit. That's so old school. I'd definitely recommend the RGB Scart you'll get a better picture quality. There not too expensive either.

...Am I the only one that tunes all there tunable consoles into channel 7 lol
Merz, there is possibly a menu button, it may have installation on it... installation is your best. Manual tuning or installation is best for consoles, it means you cant find the perfect signal for what you need.
If its not on your remote there is a possibility the button it on your television to tune channels in.
Mick, do you tune consoles to channel 5? does that mean you have channel 5 on channel 6? :S ... for some reason, our old TV used to default channel 5 as channel 6.

I got it working fine. I really have never seen something like this. Back in the USA there is no tuning, you just put the rf switch in and put it on channel 3 or 4 according to which button you press on the unit itself. I'll probably grab one of those scart cables eventually though. Thanks yall.

If you had a TV that was not pre-tuned to these channels you'd have to do the same proccess on an NTSC set ;p For example, RF modulators in PAL land genreally output to channel 69, but in order to watch channel 69 you must first have a "channel" on your TV that is actually tuned into channel 69 to begin with
