I just got my saturn in the mail and hooked it all up. It turns on but I'm not getting anything on my tv. I'm using an RF switch that goes into my cable and no channel or AV channel is showing anything. On the unit itself it has a button for I or G. I'm an american so I dont really know what any of this is. I dont even know how to work these TVs right @.@
help me out! what am i doing wrong?

Wait... what? Do you have a PAL TV & console then? If so then the switch needs to be in the "I" position, then you need to find the signal via tuning. However you should be able to find it already works on (Analogue) channel 5 or 36. It's complicated I know & the image quality isn't even that great, but that's RF for you.

I can tell you my television is receiving some kind of signal from my saturn because the screen slightly changes when i power it on.

Right ok Back in the old days when all our consoles used an RF cable you had to plug your console into your TV then tune an unused channel on your TV (usually channel 0) into the console. Plug your Saturn in, turn it on, set your TV to an unused channel, now you need to figure out how to tune your TV in (this is different for every TV)

Cool gotcha. This must be the "Band" button. My options for each channel are U, VL, and VH. I've cycled through them all on this television but nothing came up.

It's not tuned in correctly...
It's not the BAND button, tuning your TV in is not like selecting different inputs, it's like tuning in a radio to stations.

Since you seem to lack utmost common sense (with respect haha)
The simple solution =
Buy an RGB Scart

To be fair I can see how anyone quite young would not have any experience tuning a TV into a console.
