Well ive just recently started getting back into my Saturn stuff, have a mk2 Model which ive had since I bought it with NiGHTS, with the round buttons, and have started by doing the right thing and buying an action replay 4mb card via ebay so I can play imports and all that jazz.
Got a few good games, will bang up the list tomorrow, but of course my prize of my collection is Panzer Dragoon Saga.
Joined for some advice, hopefully some good for sale section and also some general old school gaming banter.
Hello!!

Good to read somebody else discovering Nights again!
Let the banter begin!
Q: was there ever a wireless controller for the PAL saturn?

Q: was there ever a wireless controller for the PAL saturn? Yes, I have a few sets, expect to pay around £45 and upwards.

I'm forever looking for those wireless controller sets on ebay. If you wanna sell one of your wireless controller sets Mick just let me know. I'll happily take it off you.
Question: Are the wireless controllers compatible with multipaps? If so, then how many wireless controllers can be can be hooked up to one Saturn at one time?

Yes very steep indeed. If they're still around early next year I'll probably nab the pair of them. Be nice to have four official wireless controllers.

Do the wireless controllers work with the multitap?

You can't use more than one set of IR pads as there are only 2 frequency settings on the pads, so if you had 4 connected via the multitap 2 of them would both function as Player1 and the other 2 would both control player2.

That's a shame. But its good to know their both favoring the shape of model 2 pads as opposed to the horrible model 1's. I'll be picking up one of these bad boys very soon

Not bad at all!
Imagine this...
Me and Mick sneak around a town, and peek inside peoples Windows, who are undoubtly using wireless controllers to play Virtua Fighter 2.
Then like, we whip out controllers of our own and start forcing their characters into doing stupid things until they wonder what the hell is happening and we start playing the game for them right from under their noses.
They get a nice demo as two ghosts play from outside their window and they freak out and call the police! TONS of fun to be had with these things!

The wire-less pads are easilly the most comfortable Saturn pads to hold.
