I purchased my US Saturn off Ebay. It seems to be a very clean, fully-functioning system. I also bought a couple of JP imports (Dead or Alive, Grandia, etc) and a ST Key. I followed the instructions on the use of the ST Key, but the games still don't work. I get a message basically telling me that the disc is not supported by the system. Anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?

The ST Key is the worse thing you can use with your Saturn.
The connector on the bottom of the cartridge is too thick and damages the Saturn's cartridge slot.
From the sounds of it this has already happened and your Saturn is not properly detecting the ST Key cartridge.

Ugh... thanks for the advice. I've kinda already decided to purchase a Japanese system and forego the region unlocking devices altogether. Is there any difference between the "white" and "grey" JP systems? Is any particular one better than the other?

The white Saturn will be more reliable, the grey one looks better
