Been an age since I played it, I remember finding it a little clunky and pretty average all round...

It doesn't look very good to me so I'd hope it plays considerably better than it looks, if those nasty uneven black lines around the sprites are anything to go by...
Get Arcana heart for PS2 if you need a fix of 2D Moe blobs kicking the boobs off of eachother.

Mmm I agree. Looks like yet another typical anime inspired 2d fighter, millions of them on the market... I say just stick to the best ones, which seem to be the capcom titles.

Yes I have this game and enjoy playing it. ;D When I purchased it, I wasn't really sure what I was getting into. One thing I did was play it with an opened mind and not compare to all the other fighting games that are better on Saturn. It took me a while to warm up to this game as it's no Capcom or SNK fighter with large sprites and super moves. Although not the best fighter the system has to offer, it does have it's charm. Nice variety of characters and combo moves. The Story Mode is set up like a Japanese TV news broadcast. I enjoy playing it every now and then. If you can find it for a reasonable price, and want a different kind of fighting game, then it would be nice to add to your collection.

I guess I could be somewhat biased as fighting games are not my type of thing at all. I like virtua fighter 2 even though I can't play it to save my life :X

It's a decent game, but nothing too special. If you want a "girly fighter" for Saturn, Asuka 120% is the best of them. Oh and Pretty Fighter X is the worst of them.
